Kuwait International Airport (Arabic: مطار الكويت الدولي‎‎, IATA: KWI, ICAO: OKBK) is situated in Farwaniya, Kuwait, 15.5 kilometers (9.6 mi) south of Kuwait City, spread over a zone of 37.7 square kilometers (14.6 sq mi). It fills in as center point for Jazeera Airways and Kuwait Airways. A part of the air terminal complex is assigned as Al Mubarak Air Base, which contains the home office of the Kuwait Air Force, and also the Kuwait Air Force Museum.
